Mango Box Setup & Troubleshooting

The purpose of the SOP is to assist you when you are setting up a new Mango Box or if you are troubleshooting Mango Box issues.

 

NEW MANGO BOX SET UP:

  • Plug in HDMI into the TV
  • Plug power cord into the wall
  • Then plug in Mango Box to power and HDMI cord
  • Ensure the remote has 2 AAA batteries
  • Once plugged in your mango box will start up
  • If the Mango Box does not automatically find the Wifi, follow the instructions within the link: SHS – MangoSign – Connect Wifi | Scribe
  • Once connected to Wifi, the Mango Box will automatically connect to the Admin Office Mango Sign account
  • After 1-5 minutes, Mango Signs will automatically start to appear on your TV using a pre-set schedule

 

TROUBLESHOOTING:

  • My Mango Box is not showing signs on the TV screen, what do I do?
    • Simply unplug the Mango Box from the TV by unplugging the box from the power cord
    • Count to 30 and then re-plug in the power cord
  • My Mango Box is saying it is not connected to the internet, what do I do?
  • Someone from the Admin Office has reached out and told me my Mango Box is not registering as “on”, what do I do?
    • Simply unplug the Mango Box from the TV by unplugging the box from both the HDMI cord and the power cord
    • Count to 30 and then re-plug in both the HDMI and power cords
