Employee Waitlist Incentive
The Employee Waitlist Incentive is a program designed to help grow the waitlist at Shasta Head Start, while giving our employees an opportunity to earn some extra money at the same time. This incentive is designed to have employees help families they meet during their daily lives. The referrals for our waitlist must be collected during non-work hours (non-company paid time) and on your own time. Employees can print out copies of the referral sheet while at work and they may submit a completed referral sheet during work.
Participation in the waitlist incentive is voluntary and will not affect your employment with Shasta Head Start.
How to Complete a Referral:
- Search the family in ChildPlus and ensure they are NOT currently waitlisted. NOTE: If a family is already on the waitlist, the employee referral cannot be submitted for incentive credit.
- Complete the Employee Referral Form immediately after contacting the family. Be sure to fill out all fields. NOTE: if any field is left blank, the Employee Referral will not be eligible for the Waitlist Incentive.
- Scan the completed Employee Referral Form to the “EE Referral” Scan folder.
- The Executive Assistant will document the receipt of the Referral Form and pass it to ERSEA to contact the family.
- Executive Assistant will track families in R&R in ChildPlus to see when waitlisted and if eligible.
