Emergency Action Plan

The purpose of the Emergency Action Plan (EAP) is to ensure that Shasta Head Start Child Development, Inc. has a plan with procedures and actions that are to be followed by employees in case of an emergency. This Emergency Action Plan is to be implemented immediately to ensure employee safety from fire or other emergencies. The plan states specific requirements and procedures to be followed based on the type of emergency encountered.

This EAP outlines roles and responsibilities, communication protocols, evacuation procedures, and emergency response actions designed to minimize risk, prevent injury, and protect property. All employees are expected to be familiar with the contents of this plan and to participate in training and drills as required.

By implementing this Emergency Action Plan, the organization demonstrates its commitment to maintaining a safe and prepared work environment and to complying with applicable local, state, and federal safety regulations.
