Fire Protection & Prevention Program

Shasta Head Start has established a Fire Protection and Prevention Program to provide comprehensive procedures and guidelines to minimize the risk of fire and to ensure the safety of employees, in the event of a fire emergency. This program outlines the responsibilities, practices, and controls necessary to prevent fire hazards, and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local fire safety regulations.

This program is designed to proactively identify and reduce potential fire risks and provides clear direction for emergency response, including evacuation procedures, reporting protocols, and the use of fire extinguishers.

All employees share responsibility for maintaining a safe environment and are expected to follow the procedures outlined in this program.
