Workplace Violence Prevention Plan
Workplace Violence Prevention Plan
Shasta Head Start has developed and implemented a written Workplace Violence Prevention Plan (WVPP) as part of our health and safety program. Under all circumstances, it is the intent of Shasta Head Start to provide a safe and healthy work environment and to help support employees in the overall identification, correction, and prevention of workplace violence or workplace violence hazards.
All employees (supervisory and nonsupervisory) are required to follow agency workplace violence prevention policies and operating procedures, at all times, and at all work locations.
Employees can obtain a copy of the Workplace Violence Prevention Plan at no cost.
Training of employees (current & new) at Shasta Head Start as to this WVPP shall occur when the program is first established & annually thereafter, whenever a new or previously unrecognized workplace violence hazard has been identified, and when changes are made to the plan.
To find the initial Workplace Violence Prevention Training please refer to SOP: 9.0.12 Workplace Violence Prevention Training.
