Parent Binder

The Parent Binder is given to families during the first home visit. All handouts, activities, resources, etc. should be hole punched by the home visitor so families can easily file them in their binder to keep their home base information organized.

The Parent Binder should have:

  • Divider tabs
    1. Parent-Child Interaction Activities
    2. Development-Centered Parenting
    3. Family Well-Being
    4. Affirmations
    5. Nutrition
    6. Misc.

The above items are provided at the beginning of each program year for the initial 11 children enrolled on each caseload. It is the responsibility of the home visitor to order additional binders and divider tabs as needed and provide to families through the program year as new families enroll.
