Civil Rights Training
This training will discuss federal civil rights laws to ensure all child nutrition program participants have equal access to all benefits and services. This course will review civil rights regulations and provide all necessary information to ensure our program complies with those requirements. There are two separate trainings for review. The initial Civil Rights Training will need to be completed before duties begin on an employee’s first day. The Civil Rights PowerPoint Training will need to be reviewed once annually after the initial training is completed.

Trainings need to be completed by the following employees: Program Director, Health Services Manager, Food Services Coordinator, all Fiscal staff, all ERSEA staff, all Education staff, & all Food Service staff.
- Will take approximately one hour.
- Needs to be completed in one sitting.
- Do not take the training on a phone or other portable device.

- Click on your desired language.
- Begin training.
- Once completed, select the button to generate your certificate of completion.
- Enter in your full name, your work email address, and Shasta Head Start under Agency/Institution name.
- You will receive your certificate of completion within 24 hours via email. The email will be sent from the following address: team@brightontraininggroup.com (check your junk/spam folders if this doesn’t appear in your inbox).
- Please forward a copy to the HR Training & Development Coordinator or scan the certificate to the HR Department.
