- Cleaning gets rid of dirt you can see.
- Sanitizing reduces the number of germs to a safe level, while disinfection kills virtually 100% of germs

Ensuring Child safety is one of our number one priorities, but accidents can happen.
- The Unusual Injury Report (UIR) is used to report any accident that requires medical attention, any unusual incident that threatens the physical or emotional health or safety of a child, any suspected physical or psychological abuse, (CFS Report), catastrophes, or epidemic outbreaks.

CA Training Ch 5 Part 5 Administering Medication:
Administering medication to children is an important responsibility. There are many guidelines in place to ensure it is done correctly.
- All requests for medication administration must be reviewed by the Health Services Manager/Registered Nurse/School Nurse prior to being accepted.
- The Site Supervisor/Head Teacher designates a staff person and a back-up staff person to administer the medication daily.
There are many more rules and procedures to be followed when administering medication to children. Please read the following SOP completely and carefully:
