Transition Within Program

When a child is transitioning from one Shasta Head Start program to another, or from one program stage, location, or classroom to another, the transfer is considered a transfer within the Shasta Head Start program. There are also program-to-program transitions within the Shasta Head Start system (i.e., the EHS 2.5 Year Transition).

There are three types of transitions within the Shasta Head Start program:

  1. Prenatal to Early Head Start
  2. EHS 2.5 Year Transition
  3. Other In-house Transitions
