Prenatal to Early Head Start

After the enrolled prenatal mother gives birth, the child will be enrolled in an appropriate Early Head Start option based on the completed Prenatal ITP. The prenatal mother’s enrollment is terminated after the postpartum visit. Receiving staff will enroll the child into the new program.  If the newborn infant is being enrolled in home-based services with the same home visitor who provided prenatal services to the mother, the home visitor completes all tasks related to the new enrollment and the termination of the prenatal enrollment.
